Roddy studied Ancient, Medieval and Modern History at the University of Durham, before going on to train at the world-famous Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
For 16 years he has led drama workshops across the country with people aged 5-45; from those seeking confidence and communication skills, to those wishing to enter the performing arts industries.
Roddy currently teaches English lessons at a small academy school in Buckinghamshire, focussing on essay skills, comprehension and grammar at Key Stages 3 & 4. He has an in depth knowledge of the AQA GCSE syllabus. This is alongside a career as a professional actor, director and presenter.
He is passionate about inspiring students to form and communicate their own ideas and to maintain their creative spark. He is dyslexic so understands the frustrations this can bring, and the techniques he has found helpful.
